How do I measure a field or land boundary?
You can choose between 3 modes in the bottom panel:
Manual Mode: Tap points on the satellite map around the field perimeter. Drag any pin to fine-tune placement.
Walk Mode: Stand at the corner of the field, tap "Start Tracking", and walk along the perimeter. Points are recorded automatically via GPS.
Rectangle Mode: Enter length and width in your preferred unit to calculate instant area and regional equivalents.
How do I improve GPS measurement accuracy?
Ensure your iPhone has a clear view of the sky away from tall structures or dense trees. The top status bar indicates current GPS accuracy (e.g. GPS: Excellent ±3m).
Which regional agricultural units are supported?
Zareeb supports Acre, Hectare, Kanal, Marla, Sarsahi, Bigha (Pucca & Kacha), Biswa, Guntha, Square Feet, Square Meters, and Square Yards with custom state standard adjustments in Settings.
How can I export and share survey reports?
After completing a measurement, tap the Share icon to generate a professional PDF survey report with map snapshot, boundary coordinates, and area breakdown, or export data to CSV and JSON.

Your privacy is important to us. Zareeb is designed as a standalone, privacy-first utility tool. We believe your land data belongs exclusively to you.
1. Location Data Collection & Usage
Zareeb requests access to your device's Precise Location (GPS) solely while using the app for the purpose of calculating property boundaries, distances, and land areas.
Location coordinates are processed entirely on your device in real-time.
We do not transmit, store, or track your location on external servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your location data with third-party data brokers or advertisers.
2. User Account & Personal Information
Zareeb does not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal information (such as your name, phone number, or email) to use the application.
3. Data Storage & Backups
All saved measurement projects, notes, and calculation history are stored securely in your device's local database. When you export PDF reports or CSV files, they are saved locally or shared through standard Apple iOS sharing sheets under your control.
4. Third-Party Services
The app loads standard map imagery (such as OpenStreetMap / satellite tile providers) over secure HTTPS solely to render the visual map background.
