This policy outlines our explicit privacy practices, hardware permission usage, and clear legal protections regarding audio samples and copyright.
Our core principle is: your personal data and musical works belong exclusively to you. We do not maintain user databases, behavioral telemetry pipelines, or ad monetization engines.

To enable hardware integration and real-time audio playback, Naad Box requests specific system permissions:
Allows you to connect external USB MIDI keyboards, pad controllers, electronic drums, or synthesizer interfaces via USB-OTG. The app reads incoming MIDI note-on, note-off, and control-change (CC) signals in real time to trigger sounds. No keystrokes, performance recordings, or hardware serial numbers are ever logged or transmitted.
Utilizes the official operating system document picker when you explicitly tap to import your own audio loop. The application cannot browse your photos, media, or personal folders autonomously. It receives access strictly to the single audio file you select.
Used solely to check and download optional, curated dholak, tabla, and percussion loop packages from our secure distribution server. These downloads happen over an encrypted connection without transmitting telemetry or device fingerprints.
Enables low-latency real-time polyphonic audio synthesis and handles audio focus transitions (such as pausing or ducking volume when receiving a phone call).
